WHAT IS RUSH?
Rush is a series of events that are used to get to know people who are interested in joining our Fraternity! Also known as "recruitment", all our events are very casual settings with activities so you can talk to Brothers and get to know us as well. Please feel free to come out and have a chat, as all events are non-binding; however to have an opportunity for an interview, one must go to at least two events and also an information session.
WHEN IS RUSH?
Our recruitment is in the beginning of each semester and lasts for two weeks. During those weeks we will hold lots of different events and workshops and sometimes collaborate with other greek organizations around campus.
WHAT ARE INTERVIEWS? HOW DO I QUALIFY FOR ONE?
After rush we hold interviews with those who qualify for them. To qualify for an interview one must attend at least the following:
- Two social events
- One Information Session
WHAT IS A BID? HOW DO I GET ONE?
Bids are formal invitations to enroll into our New Member Education process, and further formally become a Brother of our Fraternity. We give bids out to those who engage with our events and also show adequate interest in being a Brother. All events attended and also interviews are factored into our decision as a Fraternity of who obtains a bid. Bids are given out typically 2-3 days after interviews are held, and all those who qualified for interviews will get a response from us whether they got a bid or not.
